Job Description
Oakton College is recruiting adjunct instructors to serve as part‑time faculty. Positions are ongoing pooled roles; materials are retained and reviewed as needed.
Compensation is based on lecture hour equivalents (LHE). For the 2025‑26 academic year, rates are $1,221 per LHE for faculty without doctorates and $1,294 per LHE for faculty with doctorates.
Advancement to the next salary step requires successful completion of two fall or spring semesters in which 3 + LHEs are taught in each semester.
