Seasonal Part-Time Onsite Hospitality Job Coach - CASUAL

Job Description

Oakton College is looking for an enthusiastic Part-Time Onsite Job Coach to assist students who are participating in an Introduction to Hospitality course. This new pilot program provides neurodiverse students enrolled in transitional programs with a paid internship in the hotel industry. The coach will guide and manage students during their 4‑week engagement.

• The primary role of this position is to assist in maintaining an environment conducive to learning and working
• Assist hotel staff with student management
• Work collaboratively with hotel GM and Managers

• Illinois Paraprofessional license, substitute teaching license, professional educator license, or certified behavioral therapist
• Experience assisting special education students
• Willing and able to meet the needs of students
• Must be enthusiastic about working with a special needs population
• Willingness to learn and assist in the evolution of this new pilot program

Training Dates:
November 17 – December 15, 2025

Location:

Residence Inn, Wilmette

Days/Times:
Wednesdays and Fridays, 9:30 am–12:30 pm

Pay: $25/hr
