Qualifications &

Preferred Experience:

• Valid teaching license with Special Education endorsement
• Previous classroom experience in Special Education or related services
• Strong knowledge of IEP development, progress monitoring, and state/federal special education regulations
• Excellent communication skills for partnering with general education staff, families, and support teams
• Adaptability and creativity in engaging students with diverse learning needs
• Experience with common assistive technology, curriculum modifications, and behavioral intervention plans

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and deliver individualized instruction for students with varying learning disabilities
• Collaborate closely with classroom teachers, aides, and therapists to implement IEPs effectively
• Maintain accurate records, documentation, and timely IEP reporting
• Provide a nurturing, structured environment that encourages student independence and social-emotional growth
• Communicate regularly with families regarding student progress and strategies for continued support
• Contribute to multidisciplinary meetings, bringing insights and advocacy to each student's educational plan
