AMA Academy of Performing Arts is a dance, music, and tumbling school for children and adults. We are seeking positive, reliable, and energetic instructors to join our growing team. We are looking to add to our current schedule for spring/summer and for our season (start date August 2026, possibly sooner). Positions include:
- Teach beginning to intermediate students ages 6–15
- Focus on reading music, rhythm, note values, ear training, sight‑reading, and technique
- Teach ages 2–9 using the Music Fun Time curriculum
- Create an engaging, hands‑on classroom experience
We emphasize the following skills, but are not limited to:
- Counting rhythm, value of notes, reading music, sight‑reading, proper technique and ear training.
- LOVE the performing arts and working with children
- Believe in fostering confidence, respect, and kindness in every student
- Are dependable, professional, creative, and punctual
- Bring enthusiasm and positive energy to every class
