AMA Academy of Performing Arts is seeking positive, reliable, and energetic Dance Instructors to join our AMAzing team for the remainder of our  season (start date August 2026), with the potential to start sooner.

Season Commitment

This position is for our  season (August 2026 through July 2027), with the potential to start sooner. Consistent weekly availability is required through the end of the season.

Schedule Options
  • Monday Evenings: 4:30–8:00pm
  • Saturday Mornings: 8:30am–1:45pm
  • Candidates may apply for Mondays, Saturdays, or both.
Teaching Responsibilities
  • Teach beginner-level combo dance classes (Ballet/Tap, Ballet/Tap/Jazz)
  • Work with multiple age groups (Preschool through Teen, Ages 2–13)
  • Option to teach Beginning Tumbling
  • Follow studio curriculum and lesson plans while bringing creativity and energy
Qualifications & Requirements
  • Minimum 2+ years teaching experience in a dance studio or youth program
  • Experience working with young dancers in preschool and elementary age groups
  • Strong classroom management skills and the ability to lead structured, engaging, and age-appropriate instruction
  • Dependable, punctual, and professional in both communication and appearance
  • Passion for helping students grow in confidence, kindness, and technique
  • Team-oriented mindset and willingness to collaborate with staff and accept feedback
  • Commitment to creating a safe, positive, and encouraging learning environment
