Qualifications and Desired Experience

• Certification or licensure as a school psychologist
• Previous experience or strong interest in working with middle school-aged students
• Familiarity with psychological assessments, behavioral interventions, and counseling techniques
• Effective communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement student support plans

Key Responsibilities

• Manage a diverse middle school caseload, providing a range of psychological services
• Conduct evaluations to assess student learning and emotional needs
• Offer individual and group counseling, focusing on social, emotional, and behavioral well-being
• Collaborate with educators, parents, and support staff to create accommodating and effective learning environments
• Develop and monitor intervention strategies to help students reach their potential
• Assist with crisis intervention and consult as needed for student concerns
• Maintain accurate documentation in compliance with school and legal standards
