Mission

Qualifications- Completion of a Bachelor's degree or higher from an accredited college or university.
- Current valid Illinois Professional Educator License with appropriate endorsement.
- Experience as a middle school special education teacher is preferred.
- ESL endorsement is preferred.
District 62 has approximately 4,800 students in grades preK‑8, serving 8 elementary schools, 2 middle schools, 1 early learning center, and 1 year‑round, K‑8 school.
Compensation and Benefits- Position is part of the Des Plaines Education Association and salaries are set under the collective bargaining agreement. It includes paid sick and personal time. Salary information:
