Special Education Teacher Assistant (2 Openings)
Position Type:
Support Staff / Special Education Assistant
Serving 3,700 PreK‑8th grade students on Chicago's near North Shore, our district provides an inclusive learning environment that prioritizes students and staff.
Responsibilities- Work with individual and small groups of students under the direction of a licensed teacher.
- Assist students by modeling skills required to complete assignments.
- Follow educational and behavioral plans for students.
- Model appropriate behaviors and interactions with students and staff.
- Assist students with special health care needs.
- 30 hours: $25,463.34 – $26,813.90
- 60 hours: $28,260.38 – $29,728.91
- 90 hours: $30,089.43 – $31,303.28
