Elementary Art Teacher
Community Consolidated School District 62 in Des Plaines, Illinois is seeking a.6 Elementary Art Teacher for the school year. This position is primarily at Central and Terrace Elementary Schools with one class at Forest Elementary School. This is a part time.
6 position, with work days designated for Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday. Part time teachers are also required to attend all institute and in-service days as well as parent-teacher conferences even if they are not on the typical designated work days; these days are compensated at the teacher's daily rate.

Qualifications:
- Completion of a Bachelor's degree or higher from an accredited college or university.
- Current valid Illinois Professional Educator License with appropriate endorsement.
- Experience as an elementary teacher is preferred.
District Information:
District 62 has approximately 4,800 students in grades preK-8 in 8 elementary schools, 2 middle schools, 1 early learning center, and 1 year-round, K-8 school.
Compensation Information:
This position is part of the Des Plaines Education Association and salaries are part of the collective bargaining agreement. This position includes paid sick and personal time. Salary information can be found here:
