Multilingual Program Para educator

Community Consolidated School District 62 in Des Plaines, Illinois is seeking two Multilingual Program Paraeducators for the  school year at Chippewa Middle School. This is a full time, 10 month, 180 day school year position, and will work with ML students in various educational settings. Applicants must hold or be eligible for a Paraprofessional license from the Illinois State Board of Education.

Spanish or Russian speaking preferred.

Compensation Information:
The position starting salary is $19.10 per hour including fully paid individual health benefits. (Those with 3 years of experience as a para educator or who hold a Bachelors degree will have a starting salary of $20.10 per hour.) This position is part of the Des Plaines Educational Support Personnel Association and salaries are part of the collective bargaining agreement. Salary information can be found here.
