As a Engineering Program Lead here at UOP
- Honeywell, you will manage and direct the control and oversight of various aspects of a project, such as planning scheduling, cost management, risk control & assessment, monitoring sub-vendor of static and rotating equipment including modular equipment fabrication and reporting to corresponding stake holders. You will report directly to our Manger of Projects in the Hydrogen Plants Division and you will work out of our Houston, Tx location on a Hybrid work schedule.

Your impact as a Engineering Program Lead within an organization is substantial, as you are responsible for managing and overseeing the control, coordination, and oversight of various program and project management aspects.

As a Program Lead here at Honeywell, you will play a crucial role in guiding and managing programs.

YOU MUST HAVE

  • Experience in Modular fabrication and with design of process equipment.
  • Minimum of 6 years of experience in project management
  • Experience working in virtual environment.
  • Experience executing projects in the order of $5M to $20M value
  • Strong leadership and team management skills
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Strong understanding of project management principles and methodologies
WE VALUE
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification
  • Bachelor's degree in Chemical or Mechanical Engineering
  • Knowledge of ERP software like SAP
  • Experience in a global organization
  • Experience in managing projects in a matrix organization
  • Strong negotiation and influencing skills

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Lead the execution for projects

• Develop and implement project planning and scheduling strategies

• Monitor and control project costs and budgets

• Identify and mitigate project risks and issues

• Analyze project performance metrics and provide insights and recommendations

• Collaborate with cross-functional internal and external teams to ensure project success

• Ensure compliance with project management standards and best practices
  • Travel up to 20% of the time.
