Electrical Engineer

Leidos is seeking an Electrical Engineer to design, analyze, and integrate electrical systems that support mission-critical IT and engineering programs. In this role, you will develop power distribution, control, and communication circuitry for complex platforms, prepare detailed schematics and PCB layouts, and support system integration with digital and cyber systems. You will collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams, oversee testing and troubleshooting, ensure compliance with industry and government standards, and document designs.

The position offers growth, mentoring, and exposure to high-impact national security and infrastructure projects.

Responsibilities

• Design and analyze electrical power distribution and control systems for IT and engineering platforms
• Develop schematics, wiring diagrams, and PCB layouts using industry-standard CAD tools
• Integrate electrical designs with digital, cyber, and communication systems
• Perform simulations, prototype testing, and troubleshooting to validate performance
• Ensure designs comply with applicable industry, safety, and government standards
• Prepare technical documentation, test plans, and design reports
• Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams across systems, software, and mechanical engineering
• Support system integration, commissioning, and field issue resolution
