Leidos is seeking an Electronics Engineer to design, develop, and test advanced electronic systems that support mission-critical IT and national security programs. In this role, you will create schematics and PCB layouts, select components, perform signal- and power-integrity analysis, and integrate electronics with embedded and software systems. You will support system-level architecture, conduct simulations, develop test plans, and analyze lab data to validate performance and reliability.
Collaborating with cross-functional teams, you'll document designs, follow rigorous quality and security standards, and contribute to continuous innovation for government and commercial clients.
Responsibilities
- Design and develop electronic circuits, schematics, and PCB layouts for mission-critical systems
- Perform simulations, signal integrity, and power integrity analysis to optimize designs
- Select components and create bills of materials aligned with reliability and lifecycle requirements
- Integrate electronics with embedded, firmware, and software systems in IT and defense environments
- Develop and execute verification and validation test plans for prototypes and production units
- Analyze test and lab data, troubleshoot issues, and implement design improvements
- Support system-level architecture, requirements analysis, and design documentation
- Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams and stakeholders to meet project goals
- Ensure compliance with quality, safety, and security standards for government and commercial clients
- Prepare technical reports, design documentation, and configuration-managed artifacts
