Senior Tax Analyst

SENIOR TAX ANALYST Position
. Our client is a large $750M privately held organization and is the worldwide leader in what the firm produces. The company is seeking to add an internal tax department to review the income tax returns done by the Big 4 external tax team and to handle other various project related matters in tax. A successful candidate will be highly motivated with a demonstrated understanding of federal income tax law, be able to manage multiple projects at once and have a willingness to learn new areas of tax.

• Responsible for various projects related to tax matters with sales and use, property tax abatements, Unicap calculation
• Calculating income tax payments
• Reviewing income tax returns and handling transfer pricing issues
• Prepare tax adjustments and calculations for tax cash forecasting, quarterly provision and tax return processes
• Research and evaluate complex federal issues for tax cash forecasting, financial statement, and tax return reporting
• Prepare and assist with IRS audit support
• Prepare and assist with ASC 740 calculations

• Bachelor s degree in accounting, finance, business or a related field
• 2+ years of corporate income tax experience and sales and use tax
• Experience using analytical, collaboration, communication and organizational skills
