Bookkeeper

Description

We are looking for a detail-oriented Bookkeeper to join our team in Rosemont, Illinois. In this role, you will manage financial records, oversee transactions, and prepare accurate reports to ensure smooth financial operations. The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational skills and demonstrate expertise in bookkeeping and financial management.

Responsibilities:

- Maintain and monitor company financial records, tracking expenses, income, and budgets.

- Prepare comprehensive financial reports on a weekly, monthly, and annual basis.

- Oversee and manage accounts payable and receivable processes.

- Ensure payroll is processed accurately and on time.

- Conduct bank reconciliations and resolve discrepancies promptly.

- Assist in managing company taxes and compliance with financial regulations.

- Collaborate with management to provide financial insights and recommendations.

- Utilize Quick Books and other software to streamline financial operations.

- Maintain organized financial documentation and records for auditing purposes.

Requirements - Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

- At least 3 years of experience in bookkeeping or a similar financial role.

- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Quick Books.

- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.

- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.

- Excellent organizational and problem-solving capabilities.

- Familiarity with accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll processes.

- Knowledge of tax regulations and compliance requirements.
