Caregivers Part Time and Full Time (Des Plaines)

Home Helpers Home Care is hiring immediately for compassionate caregivers who will provide one‑on‑one, in‑home companion care and daily living assistance to the elderly and those requiring recuperative or continuing care.

• Providing caring and dependable companionship
• Preparing meals and snacks
• Assisting with personal hygiene (bathing and toileting)
• Transportation to and from appointments and activities
• Carrying out a plan of care that best supports the client
• Creating compassionate solutions to the client’s unique needs in collaboration with the Home Helpers team and the client’s family
• Aiding with activities of daily living
• Assisting with shopping, errands & transportation
• Picking up prescriptions & assisting with telehealth visits
• Meal preparation
• Providing companionship

• Valid driver’s license, current auto insurance, and a clean driving record
• Smartphone and email account
• Understanding of client confidentiality
• Willingness to complete all necessary employment requirements
• Minimum 25 lbs lift ability
• Age 18 or older and legally authorized to work in the U.S.

$20.00 per hour, commensurate with experience.
