Duties and Responsibilities:
- Directly oversees all facets of the Casino Floor, Aqua Bar, Lotus, Bet Rivers and High Limit Operations.
- Responsible for ensuring proper staffing for forecasted volume and budgetary guidelines
- Manages labor, cost of goods & other expenses to budget
- Effectively manages, tracks and ensures compliance with all products; commodities and papers supplies
- Responsible for the financials of the Casino Floor, Aqua Bar, Lotus, Bet Rivers and High Limit
- Responsible for development & performance of supervisors and line staff
- Responsible for hiring, managing, firing subordinates
- Communicates with operational departments and ensures appropriate information disseminated to F&B staff
- Establishes performance & profit objectives for Casino Floor, Aqua Bar, Lotus, Bet Rivers and High Limit outlets. Performs the duties and responsibilities associated with the Illinois Gaming Board Statewide Voluntary Self-Exclusion Program as described in Section A of the Rivers Casino – Des Plaines ICS
- Responsible for implementing & enforcing F&B procedures
- Drives Service Initiatives
- Responsible for maintaining our high level of expectations for food quality & overall culture
- Performs all other duties as may be assigned
Job Requirements:
- 3 – 5 years F&B leadership role, in gaming or hospitality environment
- BA Degree in gaming/hospitality or related field preferred
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Excellent leadership / motivation skills.
- Excellent organization and planning skills.
- Excellent knowledge in various computers programs including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, etc.).
- Budget and mathematical skills.
- Ability to communicate with Team members and guests
- Ability to successfully fulfill the pre-employment process
- Ability to work flexible shifts and days of the week including holidays
- Ability to obtain and maintain all necessary licensing
- Frequent walking, standing, kneeling, twisting, bending and some lifting
