Part-Time Range Attendant

Harry Semrow Driving Range, located in Des Plaines, IL, is pleased to announce an excellent career opportunity for a Part-Time Range Attendant. We are seeking a driven individual who is eager to learn, contribute, and grow within a fast-paced hospitality-focused property organization. As part of Troon, you will contribute to a global leader in golf and community management.

Compensation: $15.00 - $17.00 per hour

Position Responsibilities:

• Ensure the practice range is open and ready for players in the morning.
• Replaces golf balls and clubs in racks for use by driving range patrons.
• Maintain a professional appearance.
• Ensure the clubhouse and practice range areas are kept orderly and clean, including restrooms and trash cans.
• Work closely with Pro Shop staff to prepare for golf operations.
• Implement and support all course policies and programs as communicated by management.
• Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor or manager.
• May perform small amount of mowing.

Qualifications, Knowledge and Skill Requirements:

• Strong guest service skills.
• Working knowledge of the rules of golf is preferred.
• Ability to learn and enforce course policies, rules, and regulations.
• Ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
• Ability to use equipment and tools properly and safely.
• Ability to work well in fast paced environment.
• Must have strong communication skills.
• Must be dependable.

Minimum Qualifications for the Range Attendant:

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED); one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Other

Qualifications:

• Possesses basic math skills.
• Regular and reliable attendance.
