The Human Resources Manager is responsible for leading the day-to-day HR functions, supporting employees and managers across the organization, and ensuring compliance with employment laws and company policies. This role oversees recruitment, payroll and benefits administration, employee relations, performance management, HR compliance, and HRIS administration while helping foster a positive workplace culture.

  • Serve as the primary HR resource for employees and managers, providing guidance on employee relations, performance management, and HR best practices.
  • Administer payroll, employee benefits, leave programs, and HRIS (Paycom preferred), ensuring accuracy and compliance.
  • Manage the full‑cycle recruitment process, including job postings, interviewing, hiring, onboarding, and maintaining job descriptions.
  • Partner with managers on performance improvement, disciplinary actions, investigations, and employee separations.
  • Maintain employee records and ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws.
  • Coordinate annual open enrollment, wellness initiatives, and employee programs.
  • Manage relationships with staffing agencies and vendors, including temporary staffing and uniform providers.
  • Maintain and update HR policies, procedures, and the employee handbook.
  • Perform additional HR and administrative duties as assigned.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
  • 5+ years of progressive Human Resources experience, including employee relations, payroll, benefits, and recruiting.
  • Working knowledge of employment laws and HR best practices.
  • Experience with HRIS/payroll systems;
    Paycom experience is preferred.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR, or SPHR certification is a plus.
