Position: Technical Support Scientist I

Our client, a leader in the scientific and technical industry, is seeking a dedicated and motivated Technical Support Scientist I to join their team. As a Technical Support Scientist I, you will be part of the Technical Product Support team supporting oligonucleotide manufacturing, characterization, and validation activities. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong problem‑solving skills, attention to detail, and a collaborative spirit, which will align successfully in the organization.

What's the Job?
  • Provide technical support for diagnostic products, ensuring quality and efficiency.
  • Develop and design experiments; perform testing on Analytical Chemistry instruments; analyze data and summarize results.
  • Perform basic laboratory activities, including hands‑on wet lab work supporting product testing and development, which may involve oligonucleotide‑ or small‑molecule‑based assays.
  • Support oligonucleotide manufacturing, characterization, and validation activities within the Quality System framework.
  • Work cross‑functionally with scientists and engineers to investigate and resolve technical documentation and product‑related issues.
What's Needed?
  • Bachelor's degree in a scientific or technical field (e.g., chemistry, biochemistry, biology, or related discipline).
  • Preferred experience with Organic or Analytical Chemistry testing.
  • Knowledge of GMP, ISO, and FDA regulations is desirable.
  • Experience with oligonucleotide chemistry, small‑molecule chemistry, or related wet lab techniques is a plus.
  • Basic understanding of organic chemistry principles and prior experience working in a wet lab environment.
