- Define and evolve the target finance and MDM architecture supporting QXO’s Oracle Fusion ERP platform and adjacent systems across finance, data, analytics, integrations, and acquired company landscapes
- Support acquisition diligence by evaluating finance system landscapes, master data structures, reporting dependencies, and defining pragmatic integration strategies for newly acquired businesses
- Design scalable architecture patterns that enable QXO to rapidly integrate acquisitions while progressing toward standardized enterprise finance and master data platforms
- Define, document, and enforce architectural standards and patterns for finance platforms, master data flows, data governance, integrations, and reporting dependencies across the enterprise
- Partner with Finance, Accounting, Data & Analytics, Applications, Engineering, Security, and Integration teams to align architecture decisions, data ownership, sequencing, and execution plans
- Translate finance, accounting, and enterprise data objectives into clear technical decisions and practical architecture recommendations
- Guide platform and integration decisions across ERP, EPM, financial reporting, data lakehouse, MDM, customer, supplier, product, chart of accounts, and legal entity structures
- Identify architecture risks early and reduce operational disruption during acquisitions, ERP transitions, reporting changes, and master data harmonization efforts
- Balance speed and pragmatism with architectural coherence across a rapidly growing, acquisition-driven enterprise
- Influence teams and stakeholders to align on architecture decisions without direct authority
- Provide clear recommendations and say 'no' when required, with credibility grounded in financial control risk, data quality, integration impact, cost, and delivery feasibility
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Finance, Accounting, Engineering, Data Management, or a related field, or equivalent experience
Specialized Knowledge
- Enterprise finance platforms and architectures, especially ERP-driven finance environments
- Oracle Fusion Finance, financial accounting, procure-to-pay, record-to-report, intercompany, consolidation, and reporting processes
- Master Data Management patterns across customer, supplier, product/item, chart of accounts, legal entity, location, and related enterprise data domains
- Finance data flows, accounting controls, operational reporting, analytics, and reconciliation processes
- Data governance, data stewardship, data quality, metadata, and enterprise data ownership models
- Architecture patterns supporting multi-entity enterprises and acquisition-driven environments
Skills
- Strong system-level thinking and architectural judgment
- Ability to translate finance, accounting, and master data processes into scalable technology architectures
- Ability to communicate technical concepts in clear, business-oriented language
- Stakeholder management across finance, accounting, data, applications, and business teams
