Unified Communications (UC) Audio Video (AV) Engineer
The Unified Communications (UC) Audio Video (AV) Engineer is responsible for maintaining technology used in shared spaces, conference rooms, and offices. Primary responsibilities include white glove meeting services in Wintrust conference and training rooms.
What You'll Do
- Perform regularly scheduled room checks to ensure room operability
- Troubleshoot Audio and Videoconferencing systems inclusive of but not limited to:
Cisco, Cisco Navigator, Logitech, Crestron, Polycom, Mersive Solstice, Projectors, screens, Crestron touch panels, cables - Provide excellent customer service
- Provide and/or create end-user documentation for how to use the equipment within the shared spaces
- Create and maintain in room 'how to' instructions, end-user documentation, Service Desk documentation
- Responsible for identifying defective or failed equipment and escalating incidents to advanced AV engineer(s)
- Build strong working relationships with key business stakeholders
- Adhere to standards, policy and procedures as implemented
Qualifications
- Excellent white glove and customer service skills
- Basic understanding of A/V systems integration with network components (wired and wireless) and collaboration systems (Microsoft Teams, Zoom, etc.)
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Teams Meeting platform, Town Halls, Meeting settings and Meeting scheduling.
- Strong presentation skills and customer service skills; ability to remain calm and helpful in stressful situations.
- Experience with Microsoft Teams Administration and Cisco Webex Control Hub is a plus.
- Microsoft Office Suite (i.e. Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Exchange)
- Experience providing support and documentation for third party conferencing solutions such as Microsoft Teams, Zoom, and Cisco Webex
- Strong desire to learn new skills and/or technology

Compensation
The estimated salary range for this role is $59,000.00 - $77,000.00, along with eligibility to earn an annual bonus. Actual salaries may vary based on several factors, such as a candidate's qualifications, skills and experience.
