Network Security Engineer
Reyes is seeking a Network Security Engineer to support and maintain its network segmentation and identity security platforms as part of a transition from an MSP-supported model to an individual contractor model. This is an operational support role focused primarily on Cisco Secure Workload (CSW), formerly Cisco Tetration, and secondarily on Cisco ISE. Responsibilities include supporting and troubleshooting microsegmentation and macrosegmentation policies, analyzing workload communications, resolving access and connectivity issues, reviewing ports, protocols, ACLs, and traffic flows, and ensuring security policies are enforced appropriately across the environment.
The engineer will also support Cisco ISE, including device profiling, posture management, access control, and device isolation. This is not a network architecture, implementation, or build-out position. The environment is already established, and the focus is on day-to-day support, administration, troubleshooting, incident response, and continuous improvement of existing network security technologies. The ideal candidate will come from a network security engineering background and have hands-on experience supporting segmentation, access control, and Cisco security technologies.
Candidates with direct Cisco Secure Workload (CSW/Tetration) experience and Cisco ISE experience will be highly preferred.
