Job Summary
General cleaning, removes debris, and keeps areas in orderly condition.
Key Tasks & Responsibilities (Essential Functions)- Performs cleaning duties which require frequent lifting/bending, operating equipment, emptying trash/plastic bins, bailing plastic for recycling, dumping trash/cardboard into the compactors, etc.
- Duties may include sorting and separating scrap pallets, sweeping, picking up trash, wiping down warehouse walls, putting away supplies, bringing in pallets, and general cleaning inside and out.
- High School Graduate.
- Performs work under direct supervision.
- Handles basic issues and problems and refers more complex issues to higher-level staff.
- Possesses a working knowledge of the job.
- Ability to understand and follow directions.
- Physical stamina.
- Ability to frequently lift/move heavy objects.
- Medium work.
