Nurse Power Services Corp is a family-owned pediatric home nursing agency serving Illinois families for more than 30 years. We provide private duty nursing services to medically fragile children and maintain longstanding relationships with families, referral sources, and state programs including DSCC and IDPH. We are entering a new phase of growth and are seeking a business-minded leader to help scale the organization while preserving the clinical quality and family-centered service that have defined our reputation.
Aboutthe Role
This is not a traditional healthcare administrator role. We are looking for a leader who can oversee operations, build relationships, drive accountability, improve systems, and help grow the organization. The ideal candidate is equally comfortable reviewing KPIs, meeting with referral partners, supporting staff, solving operational challenges, and helping develop a long-term growth strategy. This role works closely with ownership and will have significant influence over the future direction of the organization.
Responsibilities- Support census growth and expansion initiatives
- Lead day-to-day agency operations
- Manage administrative and operational staff
- Develop and monitor key performance indicators
- Build and maintain relationships with DSCC coordinators, hospitals, case managers, and community partners
- Ensure operational compliance with state and agency requirements
- Partner with clinical leadership to maintain quality standards
- Improve systems, workflows, and organizational efficiency
- Oversee budgeting, staffing, and operational planning
- Provide leadership, accountability, and coaching across the organization
- Preferred Experience
- Healthcare operations leadership
- Home health, home nursing, healthcare staffing, healthcare services, or related industry experience
- Strong business and operational management background
- Experience leading teams and managing performance
- Proven ability to improve processes and drive growth
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills
- Capable of scaling businesses
- Highly accountable
- Strong operator
- Growth-oriented
- Comfortable in a small-business environment
- Able to balance strategy and execution
Hybrid role with flexibility. Most administrative responsibilities can be performed remotely. Candidates should expect periodic meetings in our Des Plaines office and field visits as needed.
