Pay Range: $ per year

Responsibilities
  • Serve as a key leader in directing and managing the company’s inbound and outbound logistics operations for Ground Domestic Teams.
  • Oversee all aspects of the site’s activities to deliver high levels of service while maintaining profitability and cost efficiency, strictly adhering to company policies and regulatory requirements.
  • Ensure operational staff execute service agreements at or above customer standards.
  • Manage all customer deliveries and pickups for B2B and B2C.
  • Maximize profitability through customer service, effective communication, and timely resolution of pending matters.
  • Control revenue and expenses to meet budget constraints, including billing, accounts payable/receivable, and contractor settlements for independent contractors.
  • Plan and monitor daily staffing schedules, adjusting as needed to maintain adequate staffing aligned with operational demands.
  • Allocate work assignments effectively to ensure operational efficiency and staff engagement.
  • Communicate directives, rules, and procedures clearly to operations staff.
  • Oversee the implementation of safety methods, practices, and programs to guarantee freight is handled safely and timely with appropriate equipment and tools.
  • Maintain a clean, professional, and safe working environment.
  • Manage and oversee administrative functions to ensure all paperwork meets compliance requirements and is processed timely.
  • Collaborate with the Director of Operations and the Sales Team on RFP quotes, new client onboarding, new tariff pricing structures, and contract management.
  • Provide coaching, training, and mentorship to subordinate staff, supporting career development through training and quality‑management activities.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or related field.
  • 24 months experience in ground operations leadership, P&L management, supply‑chain management, customer service, contract negotiation, continuous improvement, new client onboarding, independent contractor and driver relations.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment.
