Opportunity at a Glance
Under the general direction of the Senior Director of Regulatory Affairs, the Senior Manager, Regulatory Affairs is responsible for leading regulatory compliance review activities across Covista institutions. This position oversees compliance monitoring, regulatory reviews, risk assessments, and the development of regulatory guidance to support adherence to applicable federal, state, provincial, accreditation, and consumer protection requirements.
The Senior Manager partners with institutional and operational leaders to identify compliance risks, develop mitigation strategies, support regulatory readiness, and ensure regulatory requirements are effectively integrated into business processes, communications, and operational practices.
These responsibilities are accomplished by
1) collaborating with business owners across the organization to develop, implement, and maintain regulatory compliance policies, processes, and controls;
2) developing and delivering compliance training to strengthen awareness and understanding of regulations; and
3) providing timely regulatory guidance and meaningful coaching to senior leadership, management and staff at all levels of the organization.
Through these efforts, the Senior Manager promotes informed, compliant decision-making, strengthens institutional accountability, and helps ensure Covista institutions maintain compliance.
Responsibilities
- Provides day-to-day direction to the regulatory compliance review team to ensure that advertising, marketing and enrollment materials, and all other public and student-facing communications are reviewed for compliance with Covista policies as well as state and federal regulations governing all Covista institutions and business units and enrollment materials and catalog content are developed and revised as needed to comply with regulatory changes and accreditor requirements and that regulatory disclosure requirements are met.
- Establishes and maintains effective compliance review processes and controls to ensure institutions meet applicable regulatory requirements and institutional standards.
- Leads compliance review, monitoring, and oversight activities across institutions to promote adherence to applicable regulatory requirements.
