Loads Blender with weighed material and blends product to customer specifications.
Job DutiesDuties may include, but are not limited to the following:
- Requests materials from warehouse as needed. Inspects various product components to assure that correct and acceptable material is being used.
- Weighs product components to customer specifications and loads into blender.
- Is responsible for recording all lot and product code numbers on batch sheets for traceability purposes.
- Is responsible for cleaning and sanitizing equipment and blenders to company specifications.
- Completes various forms to record data.
- Reports food safety or food quality issues to an authority who can initiate action.

- Be Punctual and Outgoing.
- Communicate and work well with others in a plant environment.
- Work as a team member and helps out wherever needed.
- Successfully multi-task.
- Ensure collaborative relationships with industry, trade, other associations, regulatory agencies and Makers Pride staff.

Work Environment- Work is primarily done in a production setting.
- Frequent production environment exposure includes noise, dust, moving machinery, forklift, and temperature fluctuations.
- Stand, walk, and climb stairs frequently.
- Must be able to lift 20 pounds frequently.
- Follow all current and future safety policies.
- Participate in all safety training and pass written exams.
- Wear safety glasses, hair net, ear protection, and smock at all times in the production/warehouse area of the plant.
- Report all accidents/incidents immediately to the proper person.
- Provide post-accident drug screen.
- Lifting up to 60 pounds.
- In a 12-hour workday the job holder should be able to stand and walk continuously, occasionally bend/stoop, squat, twist, push/pull, kneel and crouch, reach above shoulder level, climb to a height of approximately ten (10) feet, carry/lift up to sixty (60) pounds, use legs, arms, and shoulders to push/pull items, flex and rotate head and neck, be around moving machinery continuously, operate a forklift and/or powered pallet jack occasionally, be in factory and/or warehouse working conditions continuously, and be in dusty conditions frequently exposed to cleaning solvents & lubricants.
High School Diploma or equivalent.

Starting Pay:
Blender Level I $19.10/hr shift differential offered for 2nd and 3rd shift opportunities. Individual base pay depends on work location and additional factors such as experience, job-related skills, and relevant education or training. The position is eligible for a discretionary annual incentive based on company and individual performance. We offer a comprehensive benefits package for full‑time employees including health, dental, 401(k), and wellness benefits beginning on the 90th day of employment.
