Maintenance Technician / Mechanic

2nd, Monday - Friday, 2:30pm to 10:30pm.
Job DutiesRepairs and maintains machinery, mechanical/electrical equipment through inspection, troubleshooting, and evaluation to determine root cause of problems. Disassembles machines and repairs or replaces broken parts. Adjusts functional parts of mechanical devices as necessary. Cleans and lubricates parts, orders replacement parts, inspects completed repairs and returns equipment to specifications. Adapts procedures, techniques, tools, materials and/or equipment to meet special needs. Serves as a resource to others in the resolution of complex problems and issues.
BasicQualifications
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- 2 years prior machine maintenance experience
- Experience with basic hand tools and power tools
- HS/GED education
- Strong mechanical/electrical understanding of complex equipment
- Knowledge of machine tools
- Mechanical aptitude
- Knowledge of basic electrical and electronic repairs
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Strong problem‑solving and analytical skills
- Ability to follow diagrams, schematics, manuals, instructions and engineering specifications
The compensation range for this position is $25.00 – $29.00 hourly. This position will be eligible for commission or an annual performance incentive plan. The base pay offered will vary depending on job‑related knowledge, skills, location, experience and internal equity.
