Shipping And Receiving Associate

The Shipping & Receiving Associate is responsible for accurately preparing, packaging, and processing outbound shipments and inbound materials to ensure efficient warehouse operations. This role handles daily tasks such as scanning products into the system, processing pallets and boxes, weighing and labeling items, and assembling shipments according to company standards. The associate will help break down inbound pallets, verify counts, and update the system to resolve discrepancies.

They will also wrap pallets, apply proper labels and corner boards, and move finished goods to the correct dock doors. Key tasks include processing shipments via UPS and Fed Ex and loading products into trailers, processing pallets systematically through LIDS, scanning products into the system, weighing, measuring, and labeling products, processing boxes systematically through pack size, and physically assembling packages.

The associate is also responsible for reviewing quantity discrepancies, updating the system as needed, wrapping pallets utilizing a wrap machine, ensuring labels left by distribution attendants are assigned to the correct pallet, putting corner boards on products when appropriate, and moving product to dock doors when appropriate. Additionally, the associate must hit hour by hour productivity goals, follow and maintain the hourly board, and maintain a clean and safe work environment, ensuring 5S is followed.
