Job Description

Manufacturing Company of custom stamping and assemblies for Automotive, appliance, and electronic components located in Des Plaines, in need of Purchasing coordinator to join their growing team.

Temp to Hire

Monday to Friday

8:00 am to 4:30 pm

Pays $22-$24 hour

We’re looking for someone with about 2–4 years of solid purchasing experience, ideally in a manufacturing environment such as sheet metal fabrication, metal fabrication, machining, or a similar industry.

Purchasing Agent Essential Tasks:

• Create Purchase Orders and obtain the appropriate approvals.
• Initiate contact with Vendors to check availability of needed supplies.
• Ensure correct number of materials are delivered and on time.
• Verify shipment to ensure quality and quantity of purchased items.
• Monitor all purchase requisitions and handle discrepancies/adjustments with vendors.
• Process proof of deliver

• Candidate must be computer literate to navigate use of an ERP/MRP System
• Intermediate Excel
• Telephone Etiquette (clear enunciation)
