Make Every Moment Matter as a Hospice Aide (CNA)
Sanctuary Hospice is seeking a full‑time Hospice Aide (CNA) to join our compassionate team, providing hands‑on care that brings comfort and dignity to patients at the end of life. Working closely with our nursing team, you’ll ensure each patient’s physical, emotional, and personal needs are met with respect, empathy, and professionalism.
Schedule: Monday – Friday, 7 am – 3:30 pm
Coverage Area: Northern Cook and Lake County

- Hands‑on Clinical Onboarding Program
- Follow the patient care plan to ensure comfort and well‑being, responding promptly to patient and family requests.
- Assist with personal care tasks such as bathing, oral hygiene, changing bedding, clothing, and shampooing.
- Provide exceptional customer service and support to patients and their families.
- Maintain accurate documentation in the patient’s home and in agency records, complying with regulatory standards.
- High School Diploma or G.E.D. required.
- Current, unencumbered CNA certification issued by the state.
- Minimum one year of CNA experience in acute or long‑term care; hospice experience preferred.
- Current CPR certification if state‑mandated.
- Valid driver’s license, vehicle insurance, and reliable transportation.
Pay: $22.00 – $23.00 per hour (average pay range). The exact rate will be determined based on experience and qualifications and confirmed during the interview process.
