Role:
Registered Nurse - Oncology Unit (Nights)
Responsibilities Include- Assessing patients and collecting health data involving patients, families, and healthcare teams.
- Coordinating and implementing individualized care plans to ensure safe, effective, and timely interventions.
- Communicating clearly with patients, families, and team members in person, via phone, and in writing.
- Providing tailored patient and family education based on thorough assessments.
- Participating in quality improvement initiatives to evaluate nursing practices.
- Maintaining current knowledge of nursing standards, laws, and regulations.
- Associate's degree or BSN from an accredited nursing program.
- Current nursing license in Illinois.
- CPR certification from the American Heart Association.
Deliver comprehensive patient care, communicate effectively, educate patients and families, and contribute to quality improvement efforts.
