Registered Nurse ($10k Sign-On Bonus Available

Overview

The Saint Mary of Nazareth Hospital is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Behavioral Health Adult Intensive Unit (Males). The position is full‑time, night shifts (7 p.m.–7:30 a.m.) with 3–12 hour shifts and an hourly rate of $35.35–$53.58. A $10,000 sign‑on bonus is available for qualified candidates.

• Assess patients and develop individualized nursing care plans.
• Administer medications, treatments, and therapeutic interventions.
• Monitor patient condition and document care in the EMR.
• Respond to psychiatric crises using appropriate de‑escalation and intervention techniques.
• Facilitate therapeutic groups and provide patient education.
• Implement seclusion and restraint procedures in accordance with policy when clinically indicated.
• Collaborate with psychiatrists, physicians, therapists, social workers, and the interdisciplinary care team.
• Educate patients and families on diagnoses, medications, treatment plans, coping strategies, and discharge planning.
• Promote patient safety, recovery, and positive clinical outcomes.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• Current and valid State license as a Registered Nurse.
• Current BLS certificate upon hire and maintenance of certification.
• Working knowledge of Mental Health Laws and practice standards.
• Understanding of interdisciplinary treatment team process, behavioral health programming, and daily nursing functions for inpatient and outpatient behavioral health units.
• Knowledge of the continuum of care for behavioral health care.
