Schedule: Full-Time | 12-Hour Shifts
Day Shift: 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM
Night Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM
3.5 Days per Week | Every Other Weekend Required
We are seeking compassionate, dependable, and resident-focused Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) to join our growing team in Des Plaines.
As a CNA, you will provide hands‑on care and daily support to residents while promoting dignity, independence, comfort, and quality of life. You will work closely with our nursing and leadership teams to provide attentive, respectful, and person-centered care in a welcoming senior living environment.
We are looking for team members who genuinely enjoy working with older adults and take pride in making a difference each day.
QualificationsRequired:
- Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification in the State of Illinois
- Dependable attendance and ability to work scheduled shifts
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Basic computer and documentation skills
Preferred:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in senior living, supportive living, assisted living, memory care, long-term care, or another healthcare setting
- Experience providing direct care to older adults or individuals with disabilities
- Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and personal hygiene
- Assist with mobility, transfers, repositioning, and ambulation
- Obtain and accurately document vital signs as directed
- Assist residents during mealtimes and provide feeding assistance when needed
- Provide companionship, emotional support, and encouragement
- Observe residents and promptly report changes in condition, behavior, or needs to the nursing team
- Respond promptly and professionally to resident call lights and requests
- Assist with changing bed linens, restocking supplies, and other resident care needs
- Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable resident environment
- Follow infection control, safety, confidentiality, and community policies
- Communicate effectively with residents, families, nurses, and other team members
- Compassionate, patient, and respectful
- Dependable and committed to their scheduled shifts
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced senior living environment
- A strong communicator and team player
- Attentive to changes in resident needs and condition
- Committed to protecting resident dignity, safety, and independence
