Range Attendant

Harry Semrow Driving Range is now hiring a Seasonal Part-Time
Range Attendant
. This position is responsible for collecting golf balls from the driving range, maintaining a clean and organized practice area. The ideal candidate is reliable, able to work independently, and enjoys working outdoors.

Compensation: $15.00 - $17.00 per hour

• Ensure the practice range is open and ready for players in the morning.
• Replace golf balls and clubs in racks for use by driving range patrons.
• Maintain a professional appearance.
• Ensure the clubhouse and practice range areas are kept orderly and clean, including restrooms and trash cans.
• Work closely with Pro Shop staff to prepare for golf operations.
• Implement and support all course policies and programs as communicated by management.
• Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor or manager.
• May perform a small amount of mowing.

• Strong guest service skills.
• Working knowledge of the rules of golf is preferred.
• Ability to learn and enforce course policies, rules, and regulations.
• Ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
• Ability to use equipment and tools properly and safely.
• Ability to work well in a fast paced environment.
• Must have strong communication skills.
• Must be dependable.

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED); one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

• Possesses basic math skills.
