We are currently hiring for a Scientist
with one of our clients in Des Plaines, IL
.

• Position: Scientist
• Pay: $29–31/hr
• Duration: 1 year
• Location: Des Plaines, IL
• Schedule: Full-time, onsite

This position will support a Technical Product Support team focused on oligonucleotide manufacturing, characterization, validation, and continuous improvement activities.

• Provide technical support for diagnostic products under the guidance of senior team members.
• Assist with the design and execution of experiments and perform testing using analytical chemistry instruments.
• Perform hands-on wet lab activities supporting product testing, characterization, and development.
• Support oligonucleotide manufacturing, characterization, validation, and continuous improvement activities.
• Analyze experimental data and summarize results.
• Learn and apply Quality System requirements, change control processes, and technical impact assessments
  .
• Collaborate with scientists, engineers, and cross‑functional teams to investigate technical documentation and product‑related issues.
• Maintain accurate laboratory records and technical documentation in accordance with established procedures.

• Bachelor's degree in a scientific or technical field such as chemistry, biochemistry, biology, organic chemistry, or a related discipline
  .
• Master's degree preferred; advanced degrees may offset required years of experience.
• Working knowledge of GMP, ISO, and FDA regulations is preferred.
• Experience with oligonucleotide chemistry
  , including synthesis, purification, analytical characterization, or assay development, is highly desirable.
• Experience with small‑molecule chemistry or related wet lab techniques is a plus.
• Strong problem‑solving, organizational, and data analysis skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to work effectively in a cross‑functional team environment
