Retail Associate/ Customer Service, Stocking
Position Summary
Provides member service, maintains the checkout area, and resolves member issues and concerns. Promotes Sam's Club products and services and offers guidance on self‑service technology. Processes member purchases, handles payments, returns, refunds, and exchanges according to company policies for various membership and payment types. Follows safety standards, procedures, and guidelines, including conducting safety sweeps, handling merchandise correctly, and reporting unsafe situations.
Key ResponsibilitiesMaintains entrance and exit areas, verifies membership cards, assists members in purchasing decisions, locates merchandise, and promotes products and services. Zones the area, organizes merchandise, and assists members with transporting items to create a safe shopping environment. Maintains paperwork, logs, and documentation, executes emergency response procedures, and ensures compliance with all security and safety practices. Trains new associates on company processes, teaches new technology, rolls out new programs, and provides continuous learning and improvement opportunities.

CompensationHourly wage range: $18.00 to $26.00. The actual hourly rate will equal or exceed the applicable minimum wage. Additional compensation may include premiums ranging from $0.35 per hour to $3.00 per hour, based on schedule, facility, season, or specific work performed.
Minimum Qualifications- Retail experience, including operating front‑end equipment such as a cash register.
- Experience working with mobile retail applications.
