Senior Assoicate, Visual Merchandising; Hybrid-Rosemont

About the Role

The Senior Associate, Visual Merchandising supports cohesive store presentations and floor sets that provide compelling appeal to the core customer while incorporating current company merchandise strategies.

• Support the creation of effective visual displays to create a shopping experience that maximizes revenue and customer satisfaction.
• Provide a holistic visual merchandising perspective by translating brand strategy, customer insights, and sales data into compelling in-store experiences that improved engagement, conversion, and execution across the retail fleet.
• Keep up with industry trends and innovate new and different ways to merchandise floor sets that maintain brand relevancy and keep Claire's on the cutting edge of retail excellence.
• Create brand-right storytelling in our retail spaces that perpetuate our brand, driving traffic and conversion.
• Oversee the production and maintenance of Claire’s model store.
• Work cross functionally with buying and planning to ensure accurate product implementation and realistic floor sets from concept through field execution.
• Review and revise visual implementation to ensure brand consistency, best practices, and accuracy.
• Plan, schedule, and supervise the planogram turn in process between merchandising, marketing, and ISP.
• Create planogram materials to support the planning and execution of planograms in field stores.
• Design promotional and trend marketing materials for field implementation and maintain model store marketing installations to drive consistent brand presentation and execution across stores.
• Supervise the internal training program, redefining training practices as needed to evolve with changing staffing needs.
• Oversee the interdepartmental training program to ensure accurate product handover in an efficient manner that best supports the visual process.
• Engage in regular field store visits to understand all aspects of the floor sets that the candidate is supervising.
• Keep a regular comp-shop schedule to maintain awareness of competition.

• Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
• 2 years retail management experience required.
• 2 years visual merchandising experience required.
• Self-starter with a strong attention to detail.
• Experience creating and implementing a visual presentation.
• Experience directing a team through a floor set change over.
• Working knowledge of current visual merchandising trends and best practices.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills and interpersonal skills.
• Proficient in Adobe InDesign, Photoshop, and Microsoft Office.
