Lead Field Service Technician - Fire

This role focuses on on‑site servicing and repair of complex fire alarm systems, including troubleshooting and basic repair procedures, customer training, and administrative support.

• Perform preventative maintenance on equipment
• Perform repair work on demand
• Provide internal and external customer support
• Adhere to administrative processes
• Work non‑standard hours as required
• Service clientele in the greater Chicago area

• High School Diploma or GED
• 3+ years of field service experience with commercial fire alarm systems
• 3+ years of experience reading and interpreting mechanical/electrical drawings and diagrams
• Valid driver’s license

• NICET certification preferred
• IT networking and operating systems experience
• Microsoft Office experience
• Experience programming fire panels and performing inspections
• Knowledge of commercial building infrastructure
• Good written and oral communication
• Ability to follow instructions and identify mistakes
• Associate or Bachelor’s degree or technical/professional certificate

Annual base salary range: $79,000 to $89,000.
