Responsibilities for Forklift mechanic

Maintains and repairs forklifts and aerial lifts to include batteries, battery chargers and battery watering system
Must be able to use a computer or tablet for several different tasks including creating repair work orders
Troubleshoot and repair ac/dc electronics and control circuits
Troubleshoot and diagnose electrical issues
Component rebuilt and hydraulic repair
Perform routine maintenance such as checking batteries, lubricating equipment, tire changes, brakes
Follow all Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs)

Required Education and Experience

High school diploma or GED
2+ years experience with repair/maintenance of industrial electric fork trucks
Aerial life repair/maintenance experience a plus
Electric and manual pallet jack repair/maintenance experience
Knowledge of Yale, Hyster, Crown equipment preferred
Forklift Certification
Ability to read repair manuals for various types of forklift trucks
