Position Overview
This position is responsible for performing maintenance and repairs on the Corporate and Transportation facility, covering both interior and exterior structures, systems, and fixtures. Work involves a variety of skilled trades, including carpentry, painting, plumbing, locksmithing, flooring, electrical, welding, mechanical systems, and HVAC
Essential
Job Duties & Responsibilities
- Conduct routine daily inspections and maintenance of building interiors and exteriors.
- Assist with and perform general maintenance, repair, and construction tasks across the facility.
- Support installation, maintenance, and repair work across multiple trades, including carpentry, painting, plumbing, electrical, welding, locksmithing, flooring, mechanics, and HVAC.
- Inspect property grounds and communicate with management regarding landscaping, cleanup, and general maintenance needs.
- Ensure and actively maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment. Support operational procedures to ensure customer value and regulatory compliance, including ISO standards and Lean Logistics principles.
- Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and safety protocols. Participate in all required training programs. Complete assigned work in a timely and professional manner.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the Lean Logistics Center.
- Maintain accurate preventive maintenance records and schedules.
- Perform other related job duties as assigned or required.
- High School Diploma or GED Equivalent or equivalent relevant experience.
- One year of experience as a semi-skilled worker in one or more of the basic building maintenance trades. Knowledge of manual and electrical hand tools.
- PC literate with experience with Microsoft Word and Excel and usage of email.
- Ability to follow oral and/or written instruction.
- Basic math and reading skills to perform job tasks and complete necessary paperwork.
- Ability to function with minimal supervision, handle multiple tasks and prioritize daily work.
- Strong verbal communication skills and ability to work with others in a professional manner
This position requires the physical ability to:
- Stand and/or walk for extended periods (up to X hours, depending on shift)
- Sit, stand, walk, bend, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl as needed
- Climb stairs, ladders, and/or scaffolds at various heights including ground-level and racking zones (occasionally/frequently)
- Reach with hands and arms overhead and below waist level
- Lift, carry, push, or pull up to 50 pounds
- Occasionally lift heavier items with or without assistance
- Use fine motor skills/manual dexterity to operate equipment, tools, or keyboards
- Frequently use hands and fingers to handle, grasp, or control objects
- See clearly at close range and at distance, with peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus
- Hear and understand verbal instructions, alarms, and equipment signals in a noisy environment
- Salary:
Your base pay is one part of your total compensation package. We anticipate this role to pay a minimum base salary of $58,000, but actual base pay will depend on the successful candidate's skills, qualifications, and experience - Competitive compensation package

This position operates in a warehouse and distribution center environment. The employee is frequently exposed to:
- Varying temperatures, including but not limited to refrigerated or non-climate controlled areas
- Loud noise levels, such as machinery, forklifts, and conveyor systems
- Dust, odors, and airborne particles
- Concrete flooring and moving mechanical equipment
- Frequent exposure to powered industrial vehicles and warehouse traffic
