Engineering and Facilities Maintenance Apprentice

Marriott is seeking an Engineering and Facilities Maintenance Apprentice to support safe, reliable hotel operations. In this entry-level role, you'll assist with routine inspections, basic repairs, and preventive maintenance of guestrooms, public areas, and back-of-house systems. Working alongside experienced engineers, you'll learn fundamentals of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and mechanical systems while responding to maintenance requests that impact guest comfort. Responsibilities

• Assist with routine inspection, repair, and maintenance of hotel facilities, guestrooms, and public areas
• Support engineers in troubleshooting basic electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and mechanical issues
• Perform preventive maintenance tasks following brand and safety standards
• Respond to simple maintenance requests to ensure a safe, comfortable guest experience
• Maintain tools, equipment, and work areas in clean, safe condition
• Document work performed and report recurring issues to senior engineers
• Follow all safety, security, and regulatory procedures in a hotel environment
• Participate in technical and on-the-job training to build trade skills and knowledge
