Prairie Materials, part of VCNA, is seeking a Fleet Mechanic I to perform a full range of major, minor, and routine repairs on heavy equipment and trucks in a Des Plaines, IL facility. You will receive work orders, diagnose issues, and coordinate with operators and parts staff to complete repairs efficiently.
The role requires a high school diploma, at least 1 year of engine mechanic experience, and a valid CDL (A/B). DOT safety standards apply, and tools are to be carried by the employee.
