Responsibilities
Drive a company‑provided vehicle to deliver prescription orders, medications, equipment, products, and/or supplies to long‑term care facilities or patients' homes on a predetermined route and schedule. Maintain the vehicle in good operating condition and report maintenance issues promptly. Uphold all regulatory compliance, including HIPAA, to ensure patient confidentiality and medication safety. Load products/materials onto the vehicle. Use a customer‑service mindset to manage all assigned pharmacy workstations and tasks, supporting the team’s ability to fill patient prescriptions promptly, safely and accurately.
Physical Requirements- Sit, stand, stoop, bend, and walk intermittently during the day.
- Choose between sitting or standing for 7–10 hours per day.
- Lift up to 25 pounds.
- Maintain finger dexterity to operate office equipment.
- Have adequate visual acuity to read fine print, including close vision, color vision, and ability to adjust focus.
- Be able to hear normal voice sounds.
- May be required to work extended hours as needed.
Required
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Possess geographical knowledge of the service area.
- Flexibility to work nights and weekends.
- Current, valid driver’s license in the state at the level required for the vehicle’s operation.
- Ability to drive for long periods of time.
- Customer service orientation.
Preferred
- Previous experience as a Delivery Driver (limo, taxi, bus, courier, or gig‑economy).
Pay range: $16.00–$28.84 per hour. Anticipated weekly hours: 29 (part‑time).
