Job Overview
As a Delivery Driver for Omnicare Pharmacy, you will deliver prescription orders and/or products to customers on a predetermined route and schedule in a company provided vehicle. Delivery Drivers take important steps to ensure all medication needs and regulatory compliance standards are met for our patients and they demonstrate ethical conduct and always maintain patient confidentiality.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver prescription orders and products to long‑term care facilities or patients’ homes.
- Manage assigned pharmacy workstations and tasks to support timely filling of patient prescriptions.
- Load products/materials onto the vehicle and maintain vehicle cleanliness.
- Maintain vehicle and report any maintenance issues to management.
- Ensure compliance with all Federal, State, and Local laws and regulations, including HIPAA, to protect patient confidentiality.
- Follow company safety and quality standards at all times.
- High School Diploma or GED is required.
- Geographical knowledge of the service area.
- Current, valid driver’s license appropriate for the vehicle’s operation.
- Flexibility to work nights and weekends.
- Familiarity with long‑term driving periods and customer‑service orientation.
- Prior delivery driver experience is preferred (e.g., limo, taxi, bus, courier, gig‑economy).
- Sit, stand, stoop, bend and walk intermittently during the day.
- Stand or sit 7–10 hours per day.
- Lift up to 25 pounds.
- Finger dexterity to operate office equipment.
- Visual acuity for fine print; color vision required; ability to adjust focus.
- Normal hearing of ordinary voice sounds.
- May need to work extended hours as required.

Pay is typically $16.00 – $28.84 per hour, depending on experience, education, and geographic location.
