The Environmental Service Hospital Housekeepers may work in any location on client premises. This individual cleans and keeps facilities or locations in an orderly condition on a health care campus. Responsibilities may vary by account, client requirements, and applicable industry standards.

• Cleans and polishes lighting fixtures, marble surfaces, and trim.
• Cleans rooms, hallways, lobbies, lounges, restrooms, corridors, elevators, stairways, locker rooms, and other work areas.
• Sweeps and/or vacuums floor.
• Dusts furniture and equipment.
• Polishes metalwork.
• Washes walls, ceiling, and woodwork, windows, door panels, and sills.
• Empties wastebasket and transports trash and waste to the disposal area.
• Replenishes bathroom supplies.
• Transports small equipment or tools between departments.

• Must be fully vaccinated against COVID‑19 as a condition of employment.
• Experience in the janitorial industry – a plus.
• Experience in medical cleaning – a plus.
• Post‑Offer Medical, Background Screening, and Drug Test required.
• High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or equivalent required.

Employees are required to stand, walk, use hands to handle or feel, and reach with hands and arms. They must climb or balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, and talk or hear. Ability to work in a standing position for long periods and lift, carry, push, or pull up to 50 lbs is necessary.

Employees may have close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, and depth perception needs, with or without corrective lenses, and may be exposed to chemicals requiring special clothing or safety equipment.

Employees may be regularly exposed to fumes or airborne particles; occasionally near moving mechanical parts; noise level is usually quiet.
