BBA HOA is seeking an experienced, dependable, and service‑oriented Maintenance Technician to join our on‑site management team at a 280‑unit beachfront condominium community in Destin, Florida. This hands‑on role is responsible for maintaining the appearance, functionality, safety, and overall operation of the property while delivering excellent service to owners, residents, and guests. The ideal candidate takes pride in their work, communicates professionally, and thrives in a fast‑paced residential resort environment.

Candidates with condominium, resort, hotel, hospitality, or HOA/community association experience are strongly preferred.

• Perform routine maintenance and repairs throughout the property, including common areas, amenities, mechanical spaces, and residential units
• Respond to maintenance requests and operational issues in a timely and professional manner
• Conduct regular inspections of grounds, facilities, and equipment to identify maintenance or safety concerns
• Assist with preventative maintenance programs to support building operations and equipment longevity
• Troubleshoot and repair basic electrical, plumbing, HVAC, lighting, doors, locks, fixtures, appliances, and mechanical systems
• Monitor and report issues related to pools, elevators, life safety systems, and other building infrastructure
• Maintain tools, equipment, and maintenance inventory in a safe and organized manner
• Interact professionally with owners, residents, guests, and vendors
• Assist with emergency response situations and after‑hours operational needs when necessary
• Maintain accurate maintenance logs, work orders, and operational documentation
• Follow all safety procedures, company policies, and community regulations

• 3+ years of maintenance experience in condominium, residential, hospitality, resort, commercial, or related property environments
• Strong working knowledge of general building maintenance systems and repair procedures
• Experience with preventative maintenance programs preferred
• Ability to diagnose problems, prioritize tasks, and complete repairs efficiently
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively with a team
• Comfortable working in indoor and outdoor environments, including beachfront conditions
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation required

• Experience working within condominium associations, HOAs, or resort communities
• CPO certification is a plus
• Bilingual abilities are a plus

• $18.00 - $21.00 /hour
