TEL Staffing is looking for a Restaurant Cleaning (& basic maintenance) Technician to work full-time at a fast-paced restaurant in Destin FL.
We are seeking a RELIABLE and DEPENDABLE full-time Restaurant Cleaning (& basic maintenance) Technician to handle basic repairs and cleaning within our busy restaurant, in order to ensure a safe, clean, and well-functioning environment for both our customers, and our employees. This role combines both janitorial duties with light maintenance duties.
RESPONSIBILITIES:- Perform routine cleaning of floors, restrooms, kitchen areas, and common spaces
- Conduct minor repairs on restaurant equipment, fixtures, and furniture (chairs, tables, etc.)
- Assist with basic maintenance tasks such as changing light bulbs, unclogging drains, and providing touch-ups & basic repairs
- Keep maintenance and cleaning supplies stocked & organized
- Perform regular inspections of the facility
- Ensure all work meets safety and health standards
- Report and/or fix issues as needed
- Must have previous cleaning (& basic maintenance) experience
- Must have at least a basic knowledge of general repairs and upkeep
- Must have the ability to lift, bend, and stand for extended periods
- Must have strong attention to detail
- Must be reliable & dependable
- Must have the ability to work independently
- Must be able to manage your time efficiently
Must pass a routine pre-employment background check before starting work.
PAY:Starts at $18 - 20/hr. (depending on current level of experience)
SCHEDULE:- Full-time ... 40hrs a week
- 5 days a week (Mon, Wed, Friday, Saturday, & Sunday)
- Approximately 8am to 5pm (some flexibility on exact start and stop time)
- MUST be able to work BOTH weekdays AND weekends
