Custodian Middle School

Full-Time Middle School Custodian

Detroit Lakes Public Schools is seeking an individual to fill a full-time custodial position.

Provides custodial support for the School District in order to provide a clean, safe, and healthy environment for students, staff, and visitors.

• Cleans, washes, dusts, polishes, scrubs, strips, seals, waxes, buffs, vacuums, sweeps, and mops the building facility, furniture and equipment.
• Stocks and maintains custodial areas.
• Conducts cleanup of bodily fluids.
• Involves lifting up to 50 lbs, climbing ladders, and repetitive motion in performing tasks.
• Performs other duties as assigned or requested.

High School diploma or equivalent.

Previous custodial building maintenance and outside grounds experience is desired.

• Special class or greater Minnesota boilers license required prior to probationary period ending.
• Minnesota class D or greater driver's license may be required.
• General knowledge in building electrical, plumbing, heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems is desired.

$20.90 per hour (differential pay of $1.00 included) (25-26 pay schedule pending negotiations).
